Is it easy to learn FCPX?

Yes, I’d say that compared to other editing software like Adobe Premiere Pro, which is really bulky, Final Cut is easy-to-learn. Perhaps it has to do with the fact that it’s made by Apple? And I feel like Apple’s tools are always user-friendly. Or maybe it’s just simply more lightweight. But overall I felt that learning this tool wasn’t as complicated as I thought it might be. Also, watching videos and tutorials really helped me as there are many resources available online.

Does Final Cut have some advanced features?

Yes. If you dive deep, you’ll discover that FCPX offers many complicated and advanced features that help make your videos stand out.

One of the best things I love about FCPX is plugin and template availability.

Plugins:

  • Plugins are additional software components that you can install to enhance and expand the capabilities of the editing software.
  • My favorite plugin is for example incredible AI-powered CineStudio, which you can see in this tutorial.

Templates:

  • Templates are time-saving pre-made video frames that can help you create absolutely stunning videos in just minutes.
  • There are templates for titles, texts, animation, multiscreens, slideshows, intros and so much more.
  • I love getting my templates from Envato Elements as they have thousands of them and one of the best ones on the market.
